The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Njabulo Nzuza and his Basic Education counterpart, Regina Mhaule will on Thursday, 25 June 2020 visit Richards Bay to commence with the roll out of Home Affairs mobile units to process identity documents applications for matriculants as part of Youth Month celebrations.

Following government’s decision on the reopening of schools for Grade 7 and Grade 12 learners, the Departments of Home Affairs and Basic Education have embarked on a project to ease the application of IDs for matriculants in line with COVID – 19 regulations pertaining to services offered to the public.
