The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba will on Thursday, 08 December 2016, announce the Department's plans for the 2016 festive season.

Minister Gigaba will outline operational plans to facilitate, in an efficient manner, the movement of travelers and goods at land, sea and air ports of entry. These will include additional personnel, extended operational hours, Unabridged Birth Certificates for purposes of traveling with minors as well as interventions to manage challenges at the OR Tambo Airport international arrivals terminal.
