The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, will on Friday, 16 September 2016, host a roundtable discussion with representatives of the civil society around issues related to the Green Paper on International Migration.
 
Minister Gigaba continues to meet with various stakeholders with a view to gather leading experts and practitioners from legal; research and academic institutions; international and non-governmental organisations;  as well as other government departments to contribute ideas to the process of reviewing the immigration policy. 
 
Organizations expected to attend include the Consortium of Refugees and Migrants South Africa (CORMSA); South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC); OXFAM; African Diaspora Forum; People Against Suffering, Oppression and Poverty (PASSOP); and Amnesty International.
