The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba will meet with representatives from the banking and the insurance industries in Pretoria on Tuesday, 19 January 2016.

The objective of the meeting is to offer the banking and insurance industries as well as the Department of Home Affairs an opportunity to deliberate on incidences of identity fraud and fraudulent insurance claims. Representatives from SABRIC and ASTUTE Financial Services Exchange are expected to attend the meeting.

There will be a media briefing following the interaction.
