The Minister of Home Affairs, Mr Malusi Gigaba, will tomorrow visit the Kya Sands informal settlement in Johannesburg to assess the extent of damage to enabling documents caused after fire erupted in the area. 

The Department will deploy mobile units to the area from 09h00 tomorrow to take in applications for enabling documents such as IDs, birth and death certificates, including temporary identification certificates.
