Home Affairs Deputy Minister Fatima Chohan will take part in the department’s outreach programme in Plettenburg Bay tomorrow, 11 September.

The Deputy Minister will meet with and address the community and local leaders in the Kranshoek Community Hall in Bitou. The visit is part of the department’s outreach campaign which started on Monday 8 September, in Bitou and Knysna.

This week’s visit to community centres is meant to bring home affairs services closer to the people. Community members have been invited to visit community halls in their areas to get services like ID applications and birth registration. (See outreach programme below)

The outreach programme ends on Friday 12 September 2014.
