Pretoria - Minister of Home Affairs, Naledi Pandor  has today, Thursday 17 April 2014 announced extension of working hours in a number of ports of entry across the country for the duration of the Easter Holidays.

Minister Pandor has extended hours at the ports of entry to ensure the facilitation of  movement of persons and goods in and out of South Africa for the duration of the Easter Holidays which has now become standard procedure for the department of Home Affairs

The extension of working hours has the implication of deployment of more staff to the ports of entry to ensure quality, effective and efficient services to people moving across South Africa’s ports of entry during the Easter Weekend

In addition, the Department of Home Affairs takes this opportunity to extend its best Easter wishes to all those travelling through our air, sea and land ports of entry during this period while reiterating the national message for all to ensure they arrive alive.

Accordingly the Department of Home Affairs has the honour to announce extension of hours for the following major ports of entry:

Lebombo 24 hours; on 14 April - 04 May 2014
Oshoek 24 hours; on 17 - 20 April 2014
Mahamba

Jeppes Reef: 07h00 - 22h00; on 17 - 21 April 2014
Mananga: 07h00 - 20h00; on 17 - 21 April 2014

Kosibay:

08h00 - 18h00; on 17 April 2014

07h00 - 18h00; on 18 April 2014
