The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Leon Schreiber, will on Thursday, 1 October 2026, host Home Affairs Quantum Leap: A Vision for the Future of Government at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg.

Over the past two years, Home Affairs has embarked on an ambitious reform journey. At the launch, Minister Schreiber will take guests beyond the reforms already underway to present a vision for a fundamentally different Home Affairs, built around people rather than queues and designed for the possibilities of a digital South Africa.

Minister Schreiber will use the event to make significant announcements about the future of Home Affairs.
