Ms Cola brings with her more than 20 years of professional experience in the fields of media and communications, marketing, and stakeholder management. Her extensive expertise positions her to lead the department's communications efforts with confidence and innovation.
Ms Cola has served in prominent roles across several key organisations.
Notably, she was previously the spokesperson for the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID), Head of Communication and Stakeholder Relations for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), and the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC). Her history of leadership and effective communication underscores her suitability for this new role.
