The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, has announced the appointment of Mr Thabo Mokgola as his acting Media liaison Officer and Spokesperson with effect from 01 October 2023.

Mr Mokgola has been seconded from the Department where he has been a Media Liaison Officer for the past 18 years. He replaces Mr Siya Qoza who has been appointed as the Chief Director: Communications in the Department.

“I wish to welcome Mr Mokgola in his new role and am confident that he will perform exceptionally well as we strive to amplify our efforts to communicate effectively with the media, stakeholders as well as members of the community,” Minister Motsoaledi said.
