The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, is scheduled to officially open the purpose-built Home Affairs office in Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape, as part of the ongoing efforts to improve access to Home Affairs services for citizens. 

On behalf of the Eastern Cape Premier, Mr Lubabalo Oscar Mabuyane, MEC Zolile Williams will join the Minister on this occasion to be held on Friday 31 March 2023.

As part of its Modernisation Programme, the Department of Home Affairs is investing in purpose-built offices to meet the unique needs of citizens who visit our offices. This includes adequate and sheltered waiting areas and sufficient parking.

Most of the 412 Home Affairs offices are leased from private landlords.

The Lusikisiki office is owned by the State.
