Johannesburg - Home Affairs Deputy Minister Fatima Chohan, will later today, Thursday 16 May 2013, address top German business leaders at a luncheon hosted by the German Chamber of Commerce at the Johannesburg Country Club, Napier Road, Auckland Park.
The interaction between Deputy Minister is aimed at strengthening relations between the department of Home Affairs and the German Chamber of Commerce with a view to make a meaningful contribution to South Africa's national efforts to expand the economy, trade, investment and job creation.
The Department of Home Affairs has as part of its broad mandate the task of ensuring the issuance of the requisite permits to the business community to facilitate trade and investment while helping to attract critical skills into the country.
In this regard, the department has established a Corporate Account unit charged with the responsibility of ensuring the necessary permits are issued to the business community seeking to invest into the South African economy.
