Home Affairs Minister Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba will embark on a Vooma Vaccination drive in Lenting, Limpopo Province, on Sunday, 24 October 2021.

As President Cyril Ramaphosa announced earlier, the Vooma Vaccination Weekends are aimed at encouraging South Africans and people living in South Africa to get vaccinated as a means of fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Minister Motsoaledi is a member of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Vaccines and is deployed to Limpopo. The Department of Home Affairs will provide services to community members such as smart ID card applications and birth registration.

Everyone wanting to access services is requested to wear a mask correctly, sanitise their hands and observe social distancing.
