The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Njabulo Nzuza will visit Sabie in Mpumalanga on Wednesday, 29 September 2021 to, amongst others, interact with community members, meet with stakeholders as well as facilitate the application and issuance of identity documents, in particular to the elderly and first time applicants.
As part of encouraging voter participation in the run up to the Local Government Elections scheduled for 01 November 2021, the Deputy Minister's visit aims to ensure that Home Affairs offices, including mobile units, are well equipped to render services to communities efficiently and effectively. In this regard, mobile offices will be deployed to the area to provide services such as application and issuance of IDs and applications for birth certificates.
In addition, Deputy Minister Nzuza will raise awareness on the importance of collection of identity documents that are uncollected at Home Affairs offices nationwide.
