You are cordially invited to the official launch of the asylum Backlog Project, a joint endeavour by the Department of Home Affairs and UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency to eliminate the backlog in South Africa’s asylum system by 2024. The event will incorporate an official signing ceremony, speeches by dignitaries from DHA and UNHCR, and an opportunity for questions to all speakers.

Individual interviews can be arranged on request.
