The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Njabulo Nzuza, will on Friday, 25 September 2020 facilitate the applications for identity documents for matriculants in Manguzi, KwaZulu-Natal as part of Heritage Month celebrations.

 

The Department of Home Affairs has taken a decision to gradually phase in the application of IDs for matriculants in line with COVID – 19 regulations pertaining to services offered to the public.  As part of the visit, Deputy Minister Nzuza will highlight collaborative efforts between the Departments of Home Affairs and Education to roll out a national programme to facilitate the application of IDs for learners who are first applicants as well as matriculants.
